First graders at Waverly Park School in the Lynbrook School District boosted the holiday spirit with a holiday singalong on Dec. 17.
Wearing festive attire and holding props representing Christmas and Hanukkah, first graders gathered on the risers in front of an audience of loved ones. They performed a variety of holiday songs, giving the perfect welcome to the holiday season. First graders were also joined by their fifth grade peers, who played percussion instruments in tandem.
