Fly with the Owls 5K is a Success

Thanks to all who came out for another successful Fly with the Owls Scholarship 5K and Fun Run organized by the Council of PTAs! The funds raised will go toward scholarships for Lynbrook seniors.

“We’re so grateful for the incredible support from our school administration, teachers, PTA members, students, and community volunteers, as well as our generous business and community sponsors who made our second annual Fly with the Owls Scholarship 5K a success,” said Fly with the Owls and Scholarship Fund co-chairs Mary Beth Stalter and Tara Aragona. “We also want to thank Lynbrook Village, the Police and Fire Departments, EMTs, and the local residents along the race route for their cooperation and enthusiasm. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ll be able to award more than $20,000 in scholarships to the Lynbrook High School Class of 2026!”
We are so grateful to the PTA for organizing another highly successful Fly with the Owls, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Lynch said. The fact that so many came out to support this event with a pending Nor' easter says so much about the community spirit the 5K and Fun Run engenders. It is the perfect capstone for Homecoming weekend, and I am looking forward to next year already!“ #OwlProud
