Wrestlers honored at Nassau All County Wrestling Awards Banquet
The Boys Nassau All County Wrestling Awards Banquet was held March 31 at the Crest Hollow County Club. Gabe Taveras, Fabian Vanegas, and R.J. Tinyes were honored for achieving All County, and R.J. Tinyes was also honored for placing 7th at the New York State tournament. The highlight of the night was Gabe Taveras receiving the Nassau County Coaches Association Senior Scholarship Award. Head coach Richie Renz was honored by receiving the 2026 Long Island Wrestling Officials Association Outstanding Sportsmanship Award.
