Lynbrook North Middle Student Council supports Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign

Lynbrook North Middle School’s Student Council, co-chaired by Shannon Ticas and Jocelyn Roslewicz, is once again supporting the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. This year, North is proud to welcome Lynbrook South Middle School to the effort, bringing the two schools together to support a cause that has touched countless lives.
As part of the fundraiser, the Student Council is selling “Fight Like an Owl” T-shirts for $15, with all proceeds benefiting North’s Making Strides fundraising page. The shirts were generously donated by North Social Studies teacher Joseph Beyrer, whose support has helped make the fundraiser possible.
Students, staff and families who would like to purchase a shirt can contact Shannon Ticas at Shannon.Ticas@lynbrookschools.org. Donations can also be made directly through the fundraiser by visiting here.
The Lynbrook community continues to remember those who have lost their battle with breast cancer while supporting those who continue to fight. Through the combined efforts of North and South, the schools are demonstrating once again that no one fights alone! #OwlProud #OwlCares
