Heritage and cultures shine at West End Multicultural Night

West End Elementary School proudly celebrated its annual Multicultural Night, bringing together students, families, and staff for an evening filled with culture, community, and school pride. This year’s theme, “West End Annual Owl Proud Fashion Show: Where Our Champions’ Heritage and Cultures Shine,” highlighted the many cultures and traditions that make up the West End community.
The evening featured a lively fashion show where students and families proudly showcased traditional clothing and attire representing cultures from around the world. Families also shared meaningful artifacts, displays, and educational presentations that celebrated their heritage and traditions. Guests had the opportunity to explore cultural tables throughout the event while learning about the many backgrounds represented within the West End family.
In addition, families enjoyed a variety of individually packaged, nut-free cultural foods that reflected cuisines from many different countries and traditions. The event created opportunities for students to build understanding, appreciation, and connections with one another through shared experiences and storytelling.
