NCAA Info Night

The Moms and Dads Club NCAA info night was a great success. Representatives from multiple schools including Stony Brook, Molloy, SUNY Cortland and Wingate University(NC) sat on our panel. The panelists experiences spanned many years at the collegiate level and have coached Football, Lacrosse, Track & Field, and Softball. Very informative discussions took place about the recruiting process and differences between Division I, II, and III. Information about the NCAA eligibility center, compliance, and the changes in regulations during the pandemic were covered as well. If you were not able to watch the live stream you can watch the recording by clicking the link below. If you have any questions always feel free to contact the Athletic Office.

Congratulations to LHS seniors John Carver, Andrew Ciprian and Jenna Hendrickson for recently signing their letters of intent to play their sport of choice at the collegiate level! John will play baseball at Adelphi University, and Andrew and Jenna will play lacrosse at Palm Beach Atlantic University and the University of Pittsburgh, respectively. We wish all three of these outstanding student-athletes the best of luck as they continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Transportation Procedures

An important aspect of team play involves students traveling to and from away games together. It is a valuable time for coaches to speak with the players both before and after the game.  However, we do realize and respect that family commitments or emergencies may arise that may necessitate a parent picking up a child from a game or take a child to a game.

The following protocol is requested for all special allowances:

Submit a note to the Coach at least three days in advance of the known conflict.
Upon pick up or drop off, make sure you report directly to the Coach
