STEP 1: COMPLETE THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM:

Please click on the hyperlink above to begin the registration progress for new students enrolling in the Lynbrook Public Schools entering UPK, Kindergarten, and grades 1-12. Select the registration box that represents the year your child will be entering the Lynbrook School District.

  • If this is the first child you are registering in the Lynbrook School District via the PowerSchool online registration form, you will be required to create a PowerSchool Registration account before you can proceed. This account can be used to register any other children in the future as well. Please Note: This is NOT a PowerSchool Parent Portal account username or password.
  • If you have registered a child previously via the PowerSchool online registration process, please log in with the email address and password used to create your account. If you have forgotten your password, please utilize the "forgot password" feature located on the login screen.
  • In order to submit your child's New Student Registration form, you will be required to upload all of the mandatory documentation noted within the application process. Please be advised that you can begin the form, even if you do not have all of the required documentation on hand. You will be able to save and return to the form at any time prior to submission.


STEP 2: PRINT OR SAVE A COPY OF THE COMPLETED FORM AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE “FORM COMPLETED” MESSAGE.

STEP 3: YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY THE DISTRICT CENTRAL REGISTRAR IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS OR IF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND/OR DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED.

PLEASE NOTE: THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM IS SUBMITTED AND ALL MANDATORY DOCUMENTATION IS APPROVED BY THE DISTRICT CENTRAL REGISTRAR.


REQUIRED RESIDENCY DOCUMENTATION FOR STUDENT REGISTRATION

OPTION 1: I own my home in the Lynbrook School District.
Homeowner Documents

  1. Affidavit A:  completed, signed by homeowner, and notarized
  2. Copy of current school tax bill indicating School District #20
  3. Two additional proofs of residency: W-2 form, automobile registration, bank statement, voter registration card, utility bill (gas, electric, water)
  4. Central Registrar Verification Form

OPTION 2: I rent in the Lynbrook School District.

Landlord Documents

  1. Affidavit B:  completed, signed by the owner / landlord and notarized
  2. Copy of house/apartment lease or rental agreement signed by the lessor and renter
  3. Copy of current school tax bill indicating School District #20

Renter Documents

  1. Affidavit C:  completed, signed by the renter / non-owner and notarized
  2. Two additional proofs of residency: W-2 form, automobile registration, bank statement, voter registration card, utility bill (gas, electric, water)
  3.  Central Registrar Verification Form
