DRIVERS EDUCATION

Driver Education registration will take place in the cafeteria on Friday, January 17th from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. registration forms are located on the District home page, the Main Office counter or Mr. Finder's office. LATE FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

CUPCAKE WARS - ALL BAKERS WANTED!!!!

Culinary Club will host The CupCake War to fight childhood hunger on Friday, February 14th, Valentines Day. The theme is "OPPOSITES ATTRACT". Help us raise money for the NO KID HUNGRY CAMPAIGN.  See Mrs. Reganato in Room 317 for details and forms

ROBOTIC CLUB MEETING

There will be a Robotic meeting on 1/9 after school. See Mr. Bernhardt for location.

GIVE KIDS A SMILE DAY is Friday, February 7th, just stop by Mrs. Marr's office in guidance for details. 

NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY

Attention all members of the NAHS. There will be a meeting on Thursday, 1/9 at 7:00 am in room 104. ALL MEMBERS MUST ATTEND. PLEASE BE ON TIME.

The yearbook club needs your senior quote. Check your LHS email for the link. The final deadline is Tuesday, January 14th. 

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD MEMBERS

There will be a Science Olympiad meeting January 7th at 3:00 pm in room 214.

ATTENTION ALL FOOTBALL PLAYERS: 

Winter Weight room begins on Tuesday January 7th. ALL STUDENTS are welcome to attend! the winter weight room sessions will be every Tuesday and Thursday through February break and begin at 3:15 pm.....remember ALL STUDENTS are welcome to attend! Any questions please see Coach Lo. 

BLOOD DRIVE

There will be a Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 27th. Students need to sign up during all lunch periods. 

U MATTER CLUB MEETING

Please join us on Monday, November 25th at 3:00 pm in room 220. We will help cotinue the valuable messages of Challenge Day - ALL ARE WELCOME!

SKIP MEETING 

SKIP orientation is tomorrow after school. All new SKIP students are to meet in the lobby after school.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION MAKE UP CLASS SCHEDULE

Wednesday (11/6) 3:00 PM 

Thursday (11/7) 7:00 AM 

You MUST be on time, prepared, and ready to participate by the beginning of each session. Late students will NOT be allowed into the gymnasium. 

Students MUST enter through the FRONT of the school building. Not the gymnasium doors on Carpenter Avenue. 

SCHOOL DOCTOR

The School Doctor will be in the Nurses office, Thursday October 31st at 7:00 am. All paperwork must be filled out or you will NOT be seen by the Doctor. 

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

There will be a Science Olympiad meeting this Wednesday 10/30 at 3:00 pm in Room 215 to sign up for events. 

BOWLING MEETING

For those interested in bowling this year. There will be a very brief Bowling meeting this Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the weight room. 

 SCIENCE OLYMPIAD MEETING

The first Science Olympiad meeting of the year will take place next Wednesday, October 16th at 3:00 pm in Room 215. All members should attend. 

CHALLENGE DAY

Challenge Day is scheduled for Monday, November 18th.  We will be running a traditional Challenge Day program this year with 100 students and 25 adults.

 If you would like to participate, please pick up a permission slip from the main counter in the office and return it to the box no later than Friday, October 25th.  You will not be able to participate without a permission slip.

BIRTHDAY WISHES CLUB

The 1st meeting of the Birthday Wishes Club will take lace Tuesday October 8th at 3:00 pm in the cafeteria. 

LAST CALL ALL SENIORS!

On Tuesday, October 15th LifeTouch will be here to take our portrait during your off period from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm at the LHS Large Conference room. 

PSAT REGISTRATION

Last day to register for the October 19th PSAT is Friday, October 4th. Please bring your registration form to Guidance. 

 HORIZON SCHOOL PAPER

If you want to get involved with LHS's school paper, you don't want to miss a Horizon meeting after school in room 311 on Fridays. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE BOARD
If you need community service stop by the showcase in the main lobby to check out opportunities available.

CROSSWALK AREA
The County has redone the crosswalk area at the fork of Union Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. This was done for your safety. Please walk in the crosswalks and not diagonally across the two streets. Press the buttons at the crosswalk to light the signs so oncoming cars know there are pedestrians waiting to cross. Everyone's cooperation will help keep everyone safe this year.
