Lynbrook uses a small set of digital platforms, and each one has a specific job. Use the quick finder below to go straight to the right place, or read the platform guide to learn what each one does, who uses it, and where to get help.

Platform Guide
ParentSquare
School-to-home communication
Who: All families, grades K-12
Use it for: Announcements, alerts, messages with teachers and staff, forms, and event sign-ups. Posts can be read in your preferred language.
How to sign in: Accounts are created automatically from the contact information on file. Activate yours from the email or text ParentSquare sends you, then use the app or parentsquare.com.

Seesaw
Digital portfolio for young learners
Who: Students and families, grades [K-3]
Use it for: Seeing the work your child creates in class, such as drawings, recordings, photos, and activities, and leaving encouraging comments.
How to sign in: Your child's teacher will send a family invitation [through ParentSquare at the start of the year]. Follow it to download the free Seesaw app and connect to your child's journal.

Schoology
Learning management system
Who: Students and families, grades [4-12]
Use it for: Class materials, assignments, due dates, quizzes, teacher feedback, and scores on individual assignments.
How to sign in: Parents create an account with a Parent Access Code from the school. Students sign in through ClassLink.
Need help? The teacher for class questions; the main office for access codes
PowerSchool Parent Portal
Official student records
Who: Families, grades [K-12]
Use it for: Report cards, marking period grades, attendance, and class schedules. This is your child's official academic record.
How to sign in: [Create a parent account using the access ID and password provided by the school.]

ClassLink
Student sign-in portal
Who: Students, grades K-12
Use it for: One-click access to all district apps, including Schoology, without separate passwords. Parents do not need a ClassLink account.
How to sign in: Students use their district account. Younger students sign in with a QuickCard, a printed badge they hold up to the device camera.

StudentSquare
Student communication
Who: Students, grades 6-12
Use it for: Class updates, assignment reminders, club and athletics news, and messages with teachers. Parents can see what their child receives.
How to sign in: Students register their own account in the StudentSquare app using their Student ID.
Need help? Your school's main office
Tip: Platforms with a green top border are used by families. Platforms with a gold top border are used by students.

For questions about a class or assignment, start with your child's teacher. For account access, codes, or contact information, contact your child's school main office. For problems with a district-issued device, students should visit their school's library media center.
