Facilities

To safely return staff and students to the Lynbrook school buildings
Maintain social distancing to the best of our ability as per the CDC Guidelines
Establish protocols for student arrival, student dismissal, lunch, physical education, and handling of student materials in conjunction with the Curriculum Committee
Revise cleaning standards and allocation of personnel for schools
Determine school provided PPE for staff, students, and visitor
Determine feasibility of the after-school activity programs
Maintain flexibility throughout the process to incorporate new guidelines

Identify classroom capacity in each building
Determine the educational program to be implemented – adapt to the program
Continue with the installation of polycarbonate sheeting in “key” areas
Increase access to hand-washing stations
Determine reasonable lunch/recess accommodations
Remove “clutter” and plush items from classrooms
Design one directional hallways and staircases – post all signage
Create list expectations for students, staff, transportation, administration, Board of Education, and visitors
