Freshmen took their first foray into a new beginning at Lynbrook High School on Aug. 29, taking a full tour of the building before the start of the school year.

Each member of the Class of 2028 received a green folder with their full class schedule and heard from their new principals about how they can make the most of their four years at Lynbrook High School. Following their schedule, the newcomers found each of their classrooms while receiving support from volunteer peers and school staff. Older peers shared valuable insight into the paths that have brought them success. Furthermore, lock combinations were memorized as freshmen found and secured their new lockers. The informative orientation will help ensure a smooth start to the school year on Sept. 5.
