From heads to toes, students at the Kindergarten Center in the Lynbrook School District learned how to keep their bodies healthy through the annual Health Fair, hosted by Molloy University nursing students on Oct. 23.

Nursing students donned their white scrubs and set up stations around the Kindergarten Center gymnasium that focused on different parts of the body, such as the brain, the heart or bones. Through various activities, kindergartners were shown how to keep themselves active and healthy. In a demonstration of the importance of washing their hands, students saw how germs can spread as they stamped their painted hands onto a sheet of paper. Additionally, a quick exercise of jumping jacks got students’ hearts pumping. The Health Fair returns to the Kindergarten Center every year, allowing Molloy nursing students to showcase their knowledge while Lynbrook kindergartners receive positive guidance on leading a healthy lifestyle.
