High schoolers in the LHS Culture Club visited Waverly Park Thursday Jan. 27 to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The high school students pushed into classrooms to read a book and create an activity with the Waverly Wonders. This activity was made possible by Michelle Eger, a Waverly Park first grade teacher, and Olga Zesil-Hetrick, the Lynbrook High School teacher who heads the Culture Club! Their combined efforts provided an opportunity for culture immersion for both the high school and elementary students. #OwlProud #OwlLearns
