The Lynbrook School District is pleased to announce that West End Elementary School educator Chelsea Gundrum was selected as the 2025 Elementary Level Mathematics Teacher of the Year by the Nassau County Mathematics Teachers Association.
Mrs. Gundrum, a third grade teacher at West End, was nominated by her peers for her contributions to the education profession and the talent and creativity she brings to her classroom. Each year, the NCMTA recognizes an elementary, middle and high school mathematics teacher. Mrs. Gundrum will attend the association’s annual reception on April 30 in Farmingdale.
